It brings me great pleasure and excitement to announce that I’m going into the studio in April to record new music!!!

I repeat: NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!

Massive thank you to my label Last Night From Glasgow for making this happen and funding this whole process, very lucky to have their support and all that help make LNFG a thing! I’ve been playing a couple of tracks to some audiences recently, so if you’ve seen me live, you will have gotten a sneak preview, but so far I have 4 finished musical blobs with an extra 3ish in different stages of completion, so I’ve yet to decide on the length of what this will be but NEW MUSIC SOON…

Aaaand even more excitingly you can watch me do it all!

Check out TEAM BESTEL

I’m really chuffed to have Team Bestel as a small community of supportive humans to take behind the scenes; share how I make my music, my inspiration, live videos of what it’s like to be in a studio, coming up with the concepts, artwork, and getting to hear and see all of what I create before any one else as I create it from start to finish. It’s so lovely to have a gang with me that I get to share this with, inspiring and encouraging me along the journey, and, if you’d like, I’d love to welcome you to be a part of this too: check out Team Bestel by clicking here

Although all Team Bestellians get free download of all past and future music, the first 5 sign ups will also get a hand drawn mandala or fish or mandala/fish (I’ve been really enjoying drawing them recently) AND the first 10 will receive a free copy of whatever it is I recorded when it’s released!!! Woopwoop!

I’m chuffed to say I’ll be announcing some awesome concerts (a few outside of Glasgow too, haha) very soon as well. In the meantime, I hope you’re still enjoying Transience? If you don’t have your physical copy yet, or you have a friend or relative that you think would like my music (thank you) you can purchase Vinyl here, and *signed* CDs here!

Love my writing and would like to work with me 1 on 1?

I’ve just started doing songwriting sessions over Skype and absolutely loving it – if you’d like to have an hours class, send me an email and I’ll give you more details

The beginning of the year is an odd one, especially in a relatively new city, thinking about where I was this time last year and I’m so humbled to be so welcomed and accepted here. Thank you for supporting me and my musical blobs, it’s a weird old world out there and I’m incredibly grateful to be making songs to sing into the void of it all. I hope that this new music will help you as much as it’s been helping me

All the best,

Z x
